At first, he's Liz' boyfriend and wants to find out, why she's behaving so weird and spys after Max Evans. He finds out their secret very late, when Max heals him, after he's shot in the end of the first season.
Over the summer, he has found to Buddha and he's dealing pretty well with the whole situation, except of some nightmares, where he's turning into an alien ;-)
After Tess has moved in his home, he offeres her his room. The relationship between them is not clear until Kyle realizes that he sees in her more a sister.
He's really disappointed, when they find out, that it was her, who killed Alex and betrayed them all.
